For Young People

Because growing up is not always straightforward — and you do not have to figure it out alone. This space is here to help you understand that you are not alone, and that other young people just like you are on this journey with you.

A Space that is yours

Maybe you found this page yourself. Maybe someone you trust pointed you here. Either way — we are glad you came.

You might be going through something that feels too big to carry on your own. Or something that is hard to put into words — a feeling that something is off, even if everything looks fine on the outside. You might be feeling pressure from every direction — school, family, friendships, the future — and not quite sure how to make sense of it all. Or perhaps you are simply curious about who you are and who you are becoming.

Whatever brought you here, you do not need to have it all figured out. You do not need the right words. You do not need to be in crisis. You just need to be willing to show up — and we will take it from there.

At the Jenna Centre, this is your space. A place where you get to speak honestly, a place where you get to be heard, and a place where you begin to understand yourself in ways that will stay with you long after our sessions end.

What brings young people to us

Every young person who comes to the Jenna Centre arrives with their own story. There is no single reason, no single experience, and no single type of person who belongs here. Some come because something has become too heavy to carry alone. Others come simply wanting to know themselves better.

Some of the things young people come to us with include:

✦ Anxiety, low mood, or difficulty managing emotions
✦ Pressure around performance, identity, and self-worth
✦ Friendships, relationships, and social belonging
✦ Family difficulties, grief, or significant life changes
✦ Trauma or difficult past experiences
✦ Feeling different, misunderstood, or like you do not quite fit
✦ Curiosity about your personality, values, strengths, and future direction

If something you are experiencing is not on this list, if it matters to you, it matters to us.

What It Is Actually Like At Jenna Centre

Our sessions are structured. there is no pressure, and no expectation that you will have everything figured out before you arrive. We listen carefully, ask questions that help you think more clearly, and work with you at a pace that feels right. Some sessions will feel productive and energising — others quiet and reflective. Some might bring up things that feel uncomfortable, and that is a normal and important part of the process. What stays consistent is that this space is always safe, always confidential, and always yours.

You do not need to have all the answers before you reach out. Just tell us what you are seeing, what you are worried about, and we will take it from there.
